So, I decided to toss the eggs. Never one to waste anything, I made the
decision to toss the eggs into the chicken coop run. In they went, one,
two, three...thud, thud, thud. I sadly report that had I waited just
one more day I would have had 3 additional chicks. I will spare you the
details.
You did the right thing. In my experience, the late hatchers don't
make it most of the time. I end the hatch after 24 to 48 hours
depending on how it's going, no excuses.
Of course, in an incubator and early or late hatch can be your fault,
so you have to account for that. Congrats on the good hatch!
