Subject: [Homestead] Glycerin Packs, was Snow peas and other stuff

Had to change the subject line <g>
The keeping it in place takes practice <g> Glycerin is a tricky little
critter.
I soak cotton in the glycerin. I have glass dishes that I set the cotton in
and then mush the gylcerin into the cotton. It really doesn't like to soak
into stuff or stick to stuff that you want it to soak into or stick to.
Only like to get where you don't want it. Then use a telfa pad on top the
cotton and depending on where I need the pack, I either use surgy tape or
vet wrap. The telfa pad keeps the glycerin from soaking into everything.

Do you make up the glycerin pack yourself and if so, how? How do you
keep it in place?
