That last sentence is what the Chairman at GM said Friday, on CNBC, when they
were begging for money. 'You aren't doing this for us , you are doing it for
yourselves, for the economy'.. It's all garbage. Let Toyota, VW, and Honda
continue to build U.S. plants with american workers making cars that
customers desires.
The auto industry has had terrible management & worse Unions for years, both
have always been politically corrupt. No money should go to another single
industry. The bank bail-out should not have happenwed, but, it's purpose was
supposed to be to free up credit and allow all worthile business to remain
solvent. Once again, the gov't wants to reward failures and losers at the
expense of hard working productive people.
Let the workers move away from cesspools like Detrioit, and go find work at a
Toyota plant, if they want to build cars. The management of the companies
and the unions can go to h*ll . Next , they will be bailing out the
cardboard box business, and the doughnut shop business . It is all garbage.
If Obama wants to be a real leader he will tell the Dems to back down and sit
quietly. It's all up to them, now................bobford
