Exactly .... and the time of year you plant it. Corn planted in the heat of
August grows much faster than that panted in April. Have you ever had the
frustration of planting two varieties of corn six weeks apart in order to
islolate them in time for pollination purposes only to have them tassel at
the same
time anyway?
