Just an update, I almost hate to report this for the way it sounds, my
daughter is home for the weekend from U of Al and says that the last two days
have
not been very good on campus. The Obama supporters are now actively telling
people on campus that this victory means that black people are owed and the
white people are going to have to pay up now. They say they were told
reparations will be one of Obama's big things on top of the new social
programs. This
was not something she heard just once, but repeated over and over again in
classes and discussions on campus. Is this something the local recruiters
told
the bama students as they recruited them to help on the campaign?? I would
assume so. Does not bode well as far as relations between the two political
camps is going forward.

Bev; let us know if you find out that it's a phenominon local to you, or if
it's happening in other places. I don't doubt that it's what you are seeing
and hearing, but it seems odd that any adult person would believe that the
president (any president) is going to 'save' them.
