That's unacceptable that she couldn't get the shots right away, but any time
in the next three or four weeks would have done as well. Rabies develops
very
slowly and the antibodies to the vaccine do not. The gamma-globulin slows
down the virus while the vaccine provokes the antibodies. It's an easy race
to
win as so long as its not neglected altogether.
