That may be true, but I have lived through both, and unemployment was MUCH
worse during
the carter years. My best friends father lost his factory job and was
filling the cream filled donuts at a local shop (I kinda liked that actually)
Teenagers couldn't get jobs at McDonalds because 40 year old men were
flipping
burgers. Men lined up wherever job signs were posted. It is nothing like that
now. My newspaper if Full of jobs, still makes up one of the largest sections
of
the paper. Not the case in the Carter years.

*using the same method*! Shortly after election, Dumbya changed how the
numbers are calculated. Our current unemployment rate is HIGHER than in the
Carter years IF you use the same methods of calculating unemployment
