He changed his political registration to run for office. Just like Reagan
did. He was a registered Democrat and they wouldn't run him for office, so
he changed to the Republican Party.
Project Vote, 1992, was run inconjunction with ACORN. However his
association with ACORN goes back to his "community organizing days (1986)
when Madeleine Talbot recruited him to "train" her staff. And it is ACORN
that ran the "get out the vote" campaign that got Teflon on the ballot to
get him into the Senate.

Ok, I guess I saw that as Democratic Socialist Party as opposed to
Democrat. If that is the case, then I apologize for my technical error
and misleading statements, but I do stand by my original assertion that
he is a socialist, which may not be such a bad thing, but the fact that
Obama distances himself from such talk concerns me. We do not have full
disclosure on his past, all we have are his denials of events.
Question Lynn...when is Obama's first contact with Acorn? He also
denied giving them money in that last debate, and from what I saw he
gave them about 800K..is that right? When did Obama first hook up with
ACORN?
