Texas' largest tree (a Bald Cypress) is within a mile of
my home. I think they've tapped into the same underground
flowing river that the pioneers did who dug my well.

They are native to southern Georgia...I have planted several here, the
tallest now about 25 feet. I love them. Planted on the SW side, they
shade in the summer and allow light through in the winter.
