You might already be aware of this Lynn, but when the top secret tapes of
from the Kennedy White House were released a few years ago, it made a bit of
a stir in political academic studies. In the first few weeks of the taping
systems introduction, John and Bobby Kennedy had discussed and made plans for
the removal (thru assassination, if necessary) of, I believe 16 foreign
leaders, Most in South and Central America; The Caribbean, and in SE Asia.
As a matter of fact, I believe JFK discussed the assassination of the
president of Vietnam just a few weeks before he , himself , was assassinated.
A former reporter for either the NYT or the Wash. post wrote a book about the
CIA a couple of years ago, that covered all of this. He said he was broken
hearted when he did the research. He was a big fan of the Kennedy's. He
said (I heard him on C-Span) that no president had come even close to
Kennedy's abuse, using CIA, etc., not even Nixon. If I find the name of the
book, I'll pass it along. It is not from a conspiracy nut, but rather from a
highly credentialed reporter.
