Wow, Charleston; a beautiful, beautiful oceanside town. I haven't been there
since before Hugo .
The piece of human garbage named Sherman left much of Charleston alone...bobf

Okay, James. I'm sure you're stereotyping and don't mean any of us on the
list, right? I happen to be a Yankee who lives in the South. I am not
soulless, not by a long shot. I don't view Southerners as dull or slow.
Perhaps some do, but I do not.
I've lived in the South since 1992 except one quick year back in Maine in
1995 after youngest son was born in Charleston SC. Our souls had adapted to
the warmer climate and we couldn't take six months of winter - though our
Yankee souls can't take six months of Charleston's humidity and heat either.
Have some pity on us southern Yankees. We mean well, most of us at least.
Retreating for the evening to see what BBC America has to say tonight.
Heaven help us.
