There was another lady too, who dropped off the list back in...probably 2005.
Her name was Tony...hard-to-decipher last name - something like Hwyark (or
thereabouts). I never asked her about it. She told me ahead of time that
she'd
be unsubscribing. I believe it was due to health related problems.
We got to corresponding privately because I needed to know about certain
types of knots, and she had great knowledge of same. I don't remember now why
I
needed to know about knots. Senior moment?
She recommended - and I subsequently purchased - "The Book Of Knots". Book
has gone to storage, of course, along with whatever written record I have of
her correspondence. Subsequent computer crashes have obliterated any other
record I had of her. She was not a homesteader per se, but the instinct was
there.
She was nice. I would like to find her again.
