What good was is to spend all that money when folks refuse to learn from
their mistakes? Everyone in Louisiana should know everything there is to
know about hurricanes. They should know that the northeast quadrant is the
worst side. They should know the difference between 130mph wind and 155 mph
wind, for one, the buildings in NO are rated to 150. They should know, but
they don't. How many times has it been on TV?
I'm sick of it. They should know that they were lucky that Katrina went east
of them. They should fear Gustav because it is not. It will also likely be
stronger than Katrina, too.
And when it is all over, there will be calls for more help for those who
stayed...more rooftop rescues...and probably more bodies floating in the
flooding.
This is really under my skin now.
