I missed one of these (below) emails. I just returned from market about 7:30 am.
They had no organic carrots today. I will try again next week. I still don't understand how this test works , but I will follow the instructions.
I don't particularly care for the taste of raw carrots. Like the stupid dog, I prefer them cooked in stew. My wife likes them raw, I'll get her to do the test , also.
Sometimes the stores have a wide selection of organic, sometimes , like today, it is more limited. I did buy a bunch of O'Henry peaches today. Of course, none are ripe yet, I hope they taste as pleasant as they look once they ripen.
I have five ( all the nursery got in ) bell pepper plants in the ground, only for a few days, and one already has one pepper the size of a double golf ball. 'most are just buds, with a few about the size of quarter of a ping pong ball .
Remember, where I am, I'm largely depentent on distribution. It could be a week or three weeks before my store has organic carrots, and I'm not going to make a special drive to one of the yuppie coffe bar/produce stores to buy bland tasting organic food at ridiculous prices. If
my wife goes to Trader Joes this weekend, I 'll get her to check there. You never know when they will haver the odd packaged stock of organic stuff. Or maybe she'll stop by Sprouts on the way.
I like my regular store and I shop once a week. Like cigarette smoking , I am habitual.
I'm still wondering if Lynda is playing a trick on me.....bobbbyford
