Good for you. I am, however, always skeptical of people who are smug.
Maybe you are the one in a billion who gets through life with no foul,

I am blessed in that I don't have to glance over my shoulder. I've
reached a good age, lived my life, and it wouldn't be a tragedy if I
didn't get up tomorrow. Now that's freedom. But, perhaps you feel the
same way, and the kids and Denise can get on well without you. Or
maybe you don't care.
