Thin mixtures--if you mean runny, watery--are weak, crack easily. In
concrete work, use the least-watery mix that you can work with and get
the job done. It will be stronger.
Also, mix dry ingredients first. Add a measured amount of water. It is
very easy to go from too-dry to too-wet.
