Yes, that does work. The last bunch of guineas, who I got as day-old
keats, roosted in the hen house with the chickens. Unfortunately, I
was between dog guardians, so the hen house became the local buffet
for the area coon population. They did better when they roosted in the
hackberry over the donkey shed; the owls rarely took more than one or
two a night. <sigh>
Now I'm back up to full dog census. One LGD is a sweetheart with most
living creatures (aside from wanting to kill one of the bcs, but I
can't really fault her for that), but the other is a 100+ pound,
8-month-old puppy who wants to play with everything. I look forward to
interesting conversations with all the canines.
