Today I transplanted a bed of brussels sprouts.
May I humbly suggest that you eat them when they are very small?
That's the sort I like best.
The plants grow fine, lush, tall. And the set on plenty of
sprouts .... but
the sprouts are as loose as little tufts of collards.
Someone who knows (I don't) may mention that a lack of a mineral or
some such nutrient causes that. I have a dim memory of the soft
Brussel Sprout Syndrome.
Let's see what other ideas turn up. Maybe there's a Brussel Sprout
Growers Association of America.
