Well, I agree that both Democratic contenders are very close in
policy. We can only guess who would be most effective. I see the
Republican party changing very little for at least another cycle. The
pendulum is inevitable.
On to the real problems, the priorities. Mine are universal health
care, cradle to grave, including benefits for those who lead healthful
lifestyles. Next is free college for all who show they benefit. The
first will come some day, but I expect years from now. Higher
education is like energy: we need it to stay strong as a nation, but
will only do something meaningful when the urgency becomes even more
obvious. As with energy deficits, if our citizens are unhealthy or
inadequately educated, we will certainly fall.
What are your priorities?
