I'm not even close to an expert but I did recall this guy (who seems

His pasture watering advice may be good but it cannot be used for
house and garden and landscaping design. He uses 3/4 inch plastic
roll-pipe.
I am now up to 700 feet of ditch. Am using 1-1/2 inch Schedule 40 PVC
for the main and one-inch for the laterals. Valves at each lateral.
I have a letter out to a friend who is a retired forest fire chief
regarding rural home fire emergency equipment. I am guessing he will
say go for super safety and build as fireproof as possible and plan
on getting your valuables out and away as fast as possible. Once
these super-dry old houses start burning it is a short time before
they are ashes.
