From time to time I drop by the Web site of our old friend, Keith
Addison. It's actually a bit addictive. For you incompletely educated
youngsters, Keith is the prime passion at Journey To Forever, a most
wonderful source of solid information on a vast subject range,
including many homestead subjects. One of the good things Keith does
is to get good, often classic, books onto his site where they may be
read free of charge by everyone. Being especially fond of outhouses I
just read The Specialist by Charles Sale, about Lem Putt, privy
builder extraordinaire. Learned a few things that will help with the
next design. Anyway, if you care to improve your knowledge of soil
