This is fine if you're looking at large populations, but it doesn't
address individual cases, such as my friend Judy who was slim and in
excellent shape when she found out she had ovarian cancer. I'm pretty
sure she was eating her vegetables as she was dedicated to healthful
living.
She is also a high school English teacher so maybe God was smiting her
for her sins.
