>From another list - made me curious, is all, especially with the pro/con >snake
discussion going on. And didn't someone post a while back (Van Dell, was it you?)
that snakes were welcome in the barn - to gobble up the rodents ? (Well, not
rattlesnakes, maybe!). Anybody?

Subject: [Abbeyweb] Coyote question
To: AbbeyWeb <abbeyweb AT abbeyweb.net>
The question of coyotes can kill large dogs has come up on the
Rottweiler list I'm on. Anybody know of any actual attacks on bigger
dogs? We have coyotes all over here, and I don't recall any such
incidents, although they certainly go after small dogs and cats. We've
had several cats, both house and barn types, disappear in the 10 years
we've been here, but then we have hawks, eagles, and owls too.
