It's only the wild black cherry (the specie that makes cherry lumber) that is
dangerous. Domestic cherries such as Bing and Montmorency aren't. And it's
only the wilted leaves.
How-some-ever, I compost the cherry tree prunings as to give the whole
situation a very wide berth.
