I took a look at San Juan County Washington

really like living on an island to do it...
The first thing that jumped out was the income, heck the average
household income is a lot more than we make in a year. Heck the house
prices put that WAY out of my reach.
The one county I know about (that's on the list- Stearns) in
Minnesota is close to the cities & that's where the people are.
I'd guess that my idea of "rural" is different from what the magazine
is shooting for.
