We sure seemed to be short during Katrina, but maybe some people are more
equal than others.
Perhaps you don't understand that Bush can't send troops onto american soil
on his own. The mayor and governor were very late in requesting assistance.
We
never had a shortage of troops to assist in the disaster, no one ever said
that. Timing has been the issue in this crisis.
