passing more laws and spending more money... a bigger-better govt IS the
answer."
Well, of the other party, Clinton, whom knee-jerkers label a "tax and spend
liberal," worked us out of the debt caused by and inherited from two
Republicans. By the time he left office, a huge surplus was predicted and
the pols of both sides were jockeying to see how they could spend the money.
I suspect that Kerry will represent more Americans than Bush. And at least
he reconsiders when events prove that an earlier action was wrong. Bush is
like a runaway horse with the bit in his teeth, hellbent on charging ahead
no matter the consequences, no matter how many limbs are shredding the
carriage. The carriage is us.
