Of all the shortsighted policies of President Bush and Vice President Dick
Cheney, none have been worse than their opposition to energy conservation
and a gasoline tax.
Shortsighted or self-serving? In Fahrenheit 9/11, Michael Moore illuminates
the very close and long-running relationship between the Bush family and
the Saudi royal family. His Royal Highness Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin
Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the
United States of America, is known within the Bush family as "Bandar Bush."
Shortly after 911, about 300 Saudis, including a couple dozen bin Ladens,
were flown out of the US before any could be questioned.
Vice President Cheney refuses to let the media know who was in the energy
task force meetings that decided US energy policy. Executive privilege is
claimed. The American people don't have a right to know.
