Juries can make mistakes, but they are the best we've got. You
absolutely cannot trust judges who have fought the "fully informed Jury"
for decades. (look up the "fully-informed jury" to see how preventing
the jury from remembering that juries should be ablle to assess ALL the
evidence, and in addition, decide whether the law itself is too foreign
to justice to be applied in the case---after all, the basic function of
the court system is "justice", no more, no less.
