The Garden's Edge is a 501c3 that supports Food Sovereignty work in Guatemala and with communities in the Global North through cultural exchanges around food systems. Proceeds from the Tamalitos Fundraiser support a Community Amaranth Harvest Event in early October, 2025. We will be sharing Amaranth seeds at the event on the 25th of April. People are then welcome to join us in early October for a special Amaranth Harvest event where together, we clean the highly nutritious Amaranth seeds and learn how to pop and eat them.
These are intergenerational events, and all are welcome! While we will be accepting donations at the door, pre-registration is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please reach out to Rebecca Cutter at the phone number below or via email at rebecca AT gardensedge.org. Please share this invitation with your friends and family!
