CCE-Tompkins’ Compost Education Program offers FREE, outdoor compost classes once a month from June through October. The first class is this coming Saturday (6/24) from 12:30-1:30pm at the Ithaca Community Gardens. Classes are taught
by Master Composters and are designed for beginners, with info for more experienced composters too. Please help to spread the word by forwarding to any individuals or groups who may be interested. Carpenter Circle at 3rd Street near Ithaca Farmers' Market Master Composter volunteers provide information and demonstrations on how to set up and manage a successful compost system in FREE classes held one Saturday a month through October. Each class covers compost basics and a topic of the
month. Upcoming topics: 7/29: “Troubleshooting”; 8/26: “Is it Done? & Compost Uses”; 9/23: “Indoor Composting”; 10/21: “Winter Composting".
