Rain Barrels and Rain Gardens
Thursday, March 26, 6:30-8:30pm
@ Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County, 615 Willow Ave, Ithaca
Water-wise gardeners capture rain and keep it safely on the property with rain barrels and rain gardens. These systems help sustain plants during short droughts, save money on water bills, and reduce stress on public water systems. For people with private
wells, rain gardens are a simple but attractive way to recharge ground water. Please call (607) 272-2292 to pre-register so we can make sufficient handouts. Cost: $5-$10/person self-determined sliding scale. Questions? Contact Pat Curran at
pc21 AT cornell.edu. See also:
