The next seed-saving class will be held at CCE-Tompkins on

Cost: $5-$10 (sliding scale) Seed Saving Techniques: Isolation, Rogueing & Hand-Pollination – Wednesday, July 3, 6:30-8:30 pm, CCE-Tompkins, Ithaca This class will cover techniques that will help you learn to save healthy, viable seed for next year's garden. You will gain hands-on experience in learning to select the best plants for seed production, rogueing out off-types, and hand-pollinating
crops like summer squash to prevent out-crossing. Different isolation techniques to prevent out-crossing will also be covered.
