Steve Austin will open up his garden on Sunday September 9, 2012 from 9 AM to
4 PM for one last visit before Fall sets in.
This diverse garden oasis is nestled into the landscape with a timber framed
pergola, terraced edible plant guilds, a constructed natural stream, two
ponds, a stone patio, and a four season greenhouse. Part of the energy
systems includes PV panels on the garden pergola that let light shine through.
In both the outdoor ponds and the small greenhouse food is grown using
"Aquaponics" with an additional Aquaculture system in the basement. All are
part of an integrative and sustainable design system known as Permaculture.
