photographer Marie Read as she shares her beautiful bird photos and lots

simple ways, including planting native wildflowers and shrubs, to
enhance
backyards to attract colorful songbirds.
Local wildlife photographer Marie Reads work regularly graces the pages
of Birds & Blooms, Living Bird and many other magazines,
calendars, and books.
Her bird photos often tell a story, as well as being beautiful. Over
her
nearly 25-year photography career, shes traveled widely in search
of
subjects, but has taken many of her most memorable images in her own
backyard. She is the author of the book Secret Lives of Common
