Temperatures are dropping and thermostats are going up! As heating bills
start to rise, more people are looking into heating their homes with
wood. Heating with wood can save you money while helping the local
economy. It also has enormous environmental benefits over oil and other
fossil fuels, including lower transportation needs and reduced
environmental impact of extraction, and it leads to better management of
our forests and results in near zero net carbon emissions. The key to
making the most of this precious resource is proper harvesting and
employing best burn practices so that emissions are kept at a minimum,
efficiencies are as high as possible, and it can be sustainably harvested
for generations to come.
If you now heat with firewood or pellets, or if youre interested in
changing over to this renewable energy source, this seminar is for you.
Come learn about buying and drying firewood, best burn practices, proper
maintenance of wood stoves, and an overview of the latest high-efficiency
technology now available.
