Mann Library is hosting our 2nd annual Local Food and Fiber Fair @ Cornell
University on Thursday, November 18th. Last year's was quite lively and we're
hoping this year's event will continue to foster connections and raise
awareness about the variety of activities here at Cornell and the surrounding
community related to agriculture and food systems. There will be
opportunities for sharing info and meeting others during "lightning
presentations" at 1pm, followed by an open market in the lobby with growers,
vendors and information tables. At 6pm there will be a student hosted film
showing and discussion. You can find out more here http://tinyurl.com/mann-fair.
Mann Library and Cornell Cooperative Extension have also created a Local &
Regional Food Systems Reference Guide available at http://guides.library.cornell.edu/local_food. It compiles a wide variety of
information resources related to local food and agricultural systems,
including those at Cornell. Any feedback appreciated!
