But........  'A$ means "moth", not "caterpillar", even though it is true that a moth comes and is born from a catepillar...

A caterpillar is a juvenile moth. It is at this stage that it eats clothing, It is at the end of this stage that it “builds a house” (cocoon) (Job 27:18) for its pupal stage of life.
