Some months ago I pointed to some particularities in the Exodus 3:13-15: - the use of the divine designation Ehyeh in God's second answer in Exod. 3:14; - the fact in the preceding question of Moses in Exod. 3:13 that the request for the divine name is attributed to the Israelites. See B-Hebrew on 16 Dec. 2012; 2, 3, 7, 9, 11, 13, 22 Jan. 2013; responses on 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11 Jan.
My postings were connected with the publication of a book 'The Other Face of God: “I Am That I Am" Reconsidered' from my pen last year. About ten days ago I put a summaryof this book on www.academia.edu. Perhaps this is also of interest to readers of B-Hebrew; that is why I venture to refer to it here. Cornelis den Hertog |
