The LXX translates it as ψυχη but the context and form indicate that this should be a niphal verb. If so, what would be its meaning? Would it be related to פושׁ PW$ “to paw out” found in Jeremiah 50:11? Or a verb from the same root as פשׁ P$ “foolish arrogance” found in Job 35:15?
