Another book I had forgotten about is, 'Readings in Biblical Hebrew' by Ehud
ben Zvi. It's been years and I can't comment much about it; what I do
remember is that it has a ton of longer, more difficult passages.

George and others,
I would like to see one as well, but I am not holding my breath waiting for
it because I don't think it has been written yet. I would love to be
surprised, however!

Hi all!
I was wanting to survey collective wisdom on people's experience with
various workbooks that take you through Hebrew syntax. I'd particularly like
to hear from instructors who have experience in this. I'm especially
interested in stand-alone workbooks that cover syntax basics without a
beginner's grammar at the front. In other words, I'm mainly interested in
intermediate books. However, any comments you have or recommendations would
be greatly appreciated.
