1. Appears to me that the root CLM is a variant of $LM, 'whole', referring
to the total shape, and also of TLM and SLM, from which we have TELEM,
'furrow', and SULAM, ladder', (which I don't think is from SLL).
2. Appears to me that CALM-AM = CALM-HEM, the same way that CALM-ENU =
CALM-ANU, and CALM-KEM = CALM-AKEM, with AKEM, being read AXEM, being an
obsolete variant of the extant ATEM.
