Dear listers,
I'm putting here a question maybe not strictly related to biblical hebrew.
I read in a document issued by the Academy of the Hebrew Language (*) a
sentence where it is said that:
"The quick legs of the gazelle made it (the gazelle) the symbol/ token of the
speed"
Now, I expected to find, for "made it", the same word we find in Ecc 2:12.
(Look at Neh 3:13 for a parallel)
Instead I find this word with an aleph after letter sin.
My question: Is it a typo? Maybe there is some good reason for this aleph
to be inserted here?
(*) Milat hashavua 33
Kind regards,
