Is there a Biblical Archaeology List similar to b-hebrew? It seems to
me that the last few discussions should have gone there rather than on
the language list. If such a list doesn't exist, maybe somebody with
the relevant knowledge should start it? Nothing prevents those of us
who are interested in both matters to be members of both. But at least
we might get some proper archaeological input instead of somehow
trying to answer archaeological/historical questions with tools
(grammar etc) that are not really well-suited for the job. And if
language questions come up on the archaeology list, we can always move
the discussion here for the input of the language experts.
