The fraction PAR of PARDES is possibly 'fore', to wit: 'in front,
around'. This 'fore' is also found, methinks, in PARBAR פרבר,
פרוור, the localities in front or around a core city, the suburbs
= sub-urbs, which the Germans call Vororts = Vor-orts. It is also
found, methinks in (from Greek?) PARGOD פרגוד, etc.
