The greek writers of the codices alexandrinus, sinaiticus and vaticanus ....
possessed both the vocabulary and the will to carefully and
precisely distinguish between biblical hebrew language and aramaic.
2 kings 18:26.

and it sure doesn't sound like they chose the word for aramaic at the
critical moment.

Apparently, hebrew language was available and spoken up on the wall at the
critical moment .... circa 710 b.c. and 10 a.d.
