Subject: [b-hebrew] rightbrain shortcomings and Arabic reading

I saw an interesting article on Arabic reading difficulties by mother-
tongue Arabic speakers, in comparison to Hebrew and to English.
Apparently, the right-brain cannot be utilized efficiently with the
Arabic script and this causes some delays in learning to read.
This doesn't deal primarily with Hebrew, but seems close enough
to the list to merit mention. It may also serve as a reminder that
language -acquisition- is not primarily through reading.
