Do we have any reason to doubt that the Codex Vaticanus is dated 4th c. AD. ?

Practically none at all, as the various references I posted were meant to attest.

So if Tsade is written T plus superscript Sigma, what is the reason to doubt this was actually the pronunciation by (at least some) Hebrew speakers at that time?
