Because of plain format, the diacritical mark "v" placed on the letter s
for (sh) failed to appear in my last post. Hence, the following paragraph
should read as follows:
"Note here in the case of the Arabic qTT, instead of writing the emphatic
letter T twice, as in English, Arabic places a w-shaped sign called shaddah,
above it; an equivalent in Hebrew would be dagesh hazaq."
