I have it modifying “You set up a table before me” in that a table is set up
in a certain place and doesn’t move (at least it’s not supposed to move).
Secondly, if you read it with each letter referring to a syllable, then
there is a beat, a rhythm, that works better with it modifying what goes
before rather than after.
2. In v6b, the MT actually says, “And I will return וְשַׁבְתִּי in the

Another option is that this is not a verb, but a noun with a first person
possessive suffix, “And my settling down …”
